Opening Scene 6

In Dead Man Running the producers use such medium shots as the one above on Curtis Jackson's hand to add emphasis to the Wall Street book he is reading. This could represent that he is an intellect or maybe he is reading about the Wall Street Crash to learn about financial mistakes that he can use to his advantage to further his business. The continued money theme is also shown along the left hand side of the shot.

Opening Scene 5

In Dead Man Running the producers use such aerial shots as the one above to emphasise the scale of the setting of the film. As shown above the audience automatically know that this film is set/based around England as this aerial shot shows the river of Thames. Furthermore we also know Dead Man Running is set in England due to the fact that the theme of money and wealth is also shown by the bank note effect in the bottom right hand corner of the screen that says Bank of England.

Opening Scene 4

In Dead Man Running the producers use such shots as the one above to emphasise how wealthy and important Curtis Jackson (Mr Thigo) looks in this scene as the camera angle is a worm's eye view. Furthermore along the side of the car there is another pattern which is usually seen on bank notes and this keeps the theme of money and wealth continuing throughout the opening scene.

Opening Scene 3

In Dead Man Running such car roof shots as the one above to emphasise the wealth and royalty of the car that is being driven. Also to the left of the shot there is a pattern that is seen round the edges of bank notes and this is effective as it ties in with the theme of money and wealth with the Rolls Royce car.

Opening Scene 2

In Dead Man Running the producers use such birds eye view shots as the one above to give a sense of space and open areas. Furthermore this camera angles covers a vast space in one scene and as above it shows a car. Also the birds eye view is shown through a video layer of a burning money note and this is effective as it shows that whoever are the main organisation / characters in this film they have money to burn so therefore they must be extremely wealthy.
